In session was hosted by Tim Quinn, Chief Academic Officer and Dean of Faculty, and Jessica Watkin, Academic Dean, as well as some Miss Porter's School students, for a discussion about academic life at Porter’s. The panelists addressed our approach to teaching and learning, our certificate programs, our advanced interdisciplinary seminars, and how our ever-evolving, student-centered curriculum truly prepares young women to shape a changing world.
This session featured the student life team for a discussion about what it means to live intentionally in a boarding school community. Topics discussed include residential life, weekend-activities, health and well-being, equity and inclusion initiatives, traditions and what it means to be a Porter’s student.
This session allowed families to learn more about athletics at Porter’s. Our Athletics Department team and a student athlete addressed our athletic philosophy, the various ways in which we support and develop our athletes, the partnership that we have with students who want to play athletics at the collegiate level, and our facilities.
This recorded discussion offered newly-admitted students and their families an opportunity to ask questions about the Porter's community and learn more about what makes us exceptional.
